This Saturday JJ and I threw a sprinkle for the foster baby. We decided to do a sprinkle because we don’t need a whole lot, especially since we won’t know the age, or gender of the foster baby until they come. We really just wanted to celebrate the fact that we are becoming parents with friends and family. It was a really sweet little get-together.
We decided on a donut theme since that was about the only “sprinkle” theme I could find on Pinterest. We served brunch with omelets, fruit, mimosas, lemonade, and a donut + coffee bar. We played a few games, talked a bit about the foster care process and our journey so far.
Everyone was so generous and wonderful with the things they brought and the advice they gave. This little foster babe will be one loved little guy or gal.
I didn’t get a chance to take any pictures with my camera but, a few of us were able to snap some with our phones 🙂

My mom even made this cake which JJ loved because he loves anything super hero related!
For those of you who came, thank you for celebrating with us and for all of your love and support. We are so thankful for such a wonderful support group! XO
